I was able to finally make it to Namur for the last GP and though I loved every second I wondered what it was like during the golden age of DeCoster, Lackey, Mikkola, Noyce, and all the other greats. Regardless the track was everything I thought it was going to be and more.
This jump alone gave me the puckers and that was just looking at it, can only imagine the first time you made the plunge. Factor in the rest of the natural obstacles, and not outdoor man-made SX obstacles, and you have a true test of the riders abilities.
I hope someday the GP Circus returns to Namur and if Luongo was smart he'd do whatever it took to bring back this piece of history. Let's hope that one day Luongo thinks more about the sport for once than he does his bank account.
