The developed strip of land on the left is North Bimini island and South Bimini is in the lower right. There's a ferry that takes you across the small strait between the two islands. North Bimini is where Ernest Hemingway hung out and is the island he wrote about in his novel, "Islands in the Stream". The Gulf Stream runs just to the left (West) of North Bimini in this photo. There is a lot of Hemingway memorabilia on the island.
