VLL AAA Indians @ Mariners - April 25, 2015, Black Field at Nottoway Park

We didn't get many hits today, however our Defense continued to develop, Tough Loss, 12-1.

From Coach Tim:

"Tough game today. We did not come with the same energy and pop in our bats. Our defense continued its upward trend. Multiple boys made good plays fielding ground balls and pop ups. Our pitching struggled at times today but that will happen. Overall any little league game can be very much about momentum and perspective. We struggled at the plate today. Just like when we have been hitting well, it is contagious and can affect the energy and approach of the boys. Today we had a bit of the opposite. But we will bounce back. I was very proud of Nick and J’hnyi making their season debuts on the mounds. It is a nerve racking experience to say the least. They both displayed great composure under the circumstances. Their efforts will be pay dividends for the team as we continue our journey through the season."
