VLL Majors Rebels @ Blue Jays - May 7, 2016, Crabtree Field, Yeonas Park

Beautiful, sunny late Saturday afternoon/early evening in the 60s after 5 days of rain.

The Rebels took an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first and the Jays put 5 runs up in the bottom of the inning. The lead changed back & forth throughout the game, with several Rebel Home Runs. The Blue Jays, while not playing their best, managed to battle the entire game. The Rebels took a 1 run lead in the top of the 6th and closed out the Blue Jays with 3 quick outs in the bottom of the 6th, leading to a loss, 10-11. Very close game that could have gone either way, with one more hit, or one more defensive out at a key time. Good team communication and a tough loss today.
