VLL Majors Yankees @ Blue Jays - May 14, 2016, Black Field, Nottoway Park

Was it possible to have yet another damp, cold, windy late evening game? Yes! 8PM, 52 degrees & dropping, windy (cold front blowing through) Saturday evening make up (for rained out game, previously scheduled at 3:30PM earlier that day). We'll take it though, to stay current with our schedule!

The Yankees took an early lead in the top of the first and the Jays tied the game mid way through. The Yankees regained the lead by getting some key hits with RISP, assisted by a few Blue Jay errors. Both teams pitched relatively well but the Yankees scored more and won, 10-6.

Unfortunately, in addition to the cold weather, we had a few injuries today. Major shout out to Insoo & Dean, please take care and get well soon!
