VLL Majors Orioles @ Blue Jays - April 10, 2016, Cervenak Field, Glyndon Park

This was a make up for our game that was rained (& snowed!) out the previous day, Saturday April 9th (temps were in the 30s). Spring returned on Sunday the 10th and brought low 60s, calm winds and lots of sun for our 2:30 PM game vs. the Orioles.

The O's took an early 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Blue Jays' bats were also alive in the bottom of the first to answer with 5 runs. The game went on with lots of hits, good defense and overall sound team play on both sides. Among other hits, the Blue Jays had a 3 run HR, a ground rule double that bounced in front of the fence and out of the field and a solo HR, winning in 4 long innings, 13-6. Oustanding team effort for the Blue Jay's first win of the season! And hats tipped to the O's for good spirited play and stellar sportsmanship.
