After a nice breakfast, we took the hotel shuttle to the airport and bid, 'Ciao' to Italy and “Andiamo” as we boarded the plane to Frankfurt to get our connection back to Washington Dulles airport. As we were climbing North out of Malpensa, Jeff was on the left side of the plane and looked over the wing to catch a glimpse of Lago Maggiore and Lago Varese. We had fond thoughts of Intra, Laveno, Baveno, the Borromean isles and Stresa. He was able to take a few pics, even though all electronics were supposed to be off.... :-) - Jeff and Carolyn.
