gsaf, thanks. This is actually 700mm. I am using an old 500 f/4 AIP manual focus lens with a TC-14B, but since the TC is completely manual it doesn't report correctly. I am on a tripod and use a remote shutter release. I also pick the clearest skies to shoot under.
