This is what a 40% chance of rain looks like in the desert! :) We had already been driving for 8 hours and were getting close to the Needles Visitor Center to register for our backcountry campsite. This photo is looking west in the direction of the Visitor Center. Needless to say, we were hoping the rain would be over and done with by the time we arrived.
