BCER 1304 "Connaught,"
Built in 1911 and then named and refurbished for the visit of the Duke and Duchess of Connaught
and their daughter, Princess Patricia in 1912. The Duke of Connaught was then the Governor-General of Canada.
Afterwards it was put back into service, where it ran until it caught fire in 1945..rebuilt and ran until 1950.
Car 1304 left Canada in 1955 and moved to Glenwood, Oregon to reside at the “Trolley Park” of the Oregon Electric Railway Historical Society. It returned to Canada in 2009.
