Grade 1: Living Things

This series of 10 short e-books explores the theme of Living Things from a variety of perspectives. The e-books act can be uses as both a pre and post-visit activity for classes visiting TRC's Education Naturally Program.

During their visit here students discover animal and plant characteristics and patterns using sensory techniques, appropriate tools for magnification and exploratory hikes on the Riverwood property. The winter bird program and spring tadpole program are teacher favourites.
