I have been 2 times to Bali. One 2001 before the terrible bombing, when I was using slide films, and the last, in 2003.
It is indeed one of the most magnificent places in the World, with the nicest, gentlest people...
In Manado, Sulawesi, I was there during the horrible Asian Tsunami, no effects there, fortunately, but I could feel a 9 degrees earthquake. Very scary....
