Maputo/Nampula/Maputo, Mozambique
On my 1st Mozambique trip, also my 1st time on a B737. Maybe not this particular one, because the ones I flew were previously from DETA, the Airline of Mozambique at the time of the Portuguese.
Some of the early 737 from Boeing, they were very old already.
On the return flight, they could not use the full plane capacity of 150 passengers, there were some 30 empty seats, altough in the Airport there were over 100 passengers waiting to embark.
On the last landing, in Maputo, surelly the Co-Pilot flying, he could not bring the plane down to the runaway: we were overflying it, close to the ground, but no touchdown. Until, near the end, bingo! Quite scary... LOL
