A very interesting fish I didn't see so often...
Also known as Thin Snook, Sergeant Fish, Robalo, Linesider and Pike.
Found singly or in small schools of lagoons and estuaries around mangroves and grassy areas of reef.
They feed on fish and crustaceans.
Length - 100cm
Depth to 1-20m
Widespread Western Atlantic & Caribbean

Found in shallow waters, excellent game fish. When spawning can be found close to fresh water at the mouths of rivers.
