My daughter, Heather, already has two girls, ages 15 and 17. So it was quite a surprise when she found out last fall that she was pregnant. Lucas arrived 3 weeks early by C-Section - he was already 9 pounds! Everyone is doing well (except Mom and Dad say they could definitely use a little more sleep!)
As for me (the Grandma) I'm looking forward to buying toy trucks and footballs instead of Barbie dolls!
