I had fun maneuvering around in often waist-deep snow to compose these photos ("fun" meaning an interesting time of frequently falling and getting stuck in the very deep and heavy snow!!). In getting back to simple things, these photos are reeds that have fallen down or been broken by the snow. I spent considerable time looking for forms and lines that I found to be interesting. All the photos were taken along the driveway at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA.
