It is amazing to me to sit and watch an anthill. These guys are some very hard workers!

"Going Up"
It is sooo hard to track a fast moving ant with a 100mm Macro lens, with very shallow depth of field!! I took about 100 shots, and got 3 or 4 keepers, none of which are truly perfect. If you want some manual focus and macro practice, try nailing one of these ants! They had places to go today... they were really moving! I am somewhat impressed that I got any shots right.
