First Bullseye!
Josh's 7th birthday was eariler this week and he got a BB gun! We adjusted the scope sights yesterday and today he shot is first bullseye from a standing position! He has a natural talent for marksmanship!

Sorry I agree with first poster. I don't think children should be encouraged to have any interest in guns. It sends out a message that gun culture is acceptable. Love the rest of your pics though.

I don't think knowing and understanding gun saftey in any way violates my beliefs as a Christian. People who kill other people bother me, but guns do not. Teaching my boys to target shoot will not corrupt them. I appreciate your point of view, but I strongly believe that guns are not evil, but criminals who use them are. I supervise my kids when they shoot, and the gun has a trigger lock installed when we are not shooting. As you can see in the photo, Josh is wearing safety glasses, and we were shooting at a target. There are moral, responsible individuals in the world who know how to use guns properly.
I understand your point of view, and I have no problem with it. I personally feel differently, though.

Just not sure WHY you, as a Christian are PROUD of the fact that you are teaching your son to SHOOT a gun?
