Incredible photo JD ... astounding, dramatic shadows and lighting with terrific texture. Fantastic composition .. just excellent!

Thanks Patrick! I shot this awhile back with my Sony 717. It has been floating around on my hard drive, and I used it for my background at one point. I've always liked it, but no one else seemed to think much of it. Thanks for your input! It makes me feel better! I'd like to shoot a whole series of shots with rocks and slate, different shapes, colors, and lighting.

Cripes - this just blows me a way, JD! These colors are simply GORGEOUS and the dramatic light creates an almost poetic image. Stellar shot - arhives or not! :)
