We went on this trip (and over to Boise for Birds of Prey), as a last short trip before Janet’s knee replacement surgery. This was about a 6.5-hour trip from home, and we were able to go up the tram as soon as we got there. The tram cars are like the ones at Disneyland that can hold up to 4 people. It is about a 15-minute ride to the top, where there is still some snow. It was well worth the trip as you have great mountain views from the top. The full 2.5-mile loop trail was still covered with snow, but I was able to go to their two viewpoints that were about 5- and 10-minute walks from the tram station.
