This state park is northwest of Las Vegas. It has spectacular rock formations, petroglyphs, and Desert Bighorn Sheep. We actually visited here twice on our trip. We arrived in Las Vegas in the early afternoon, so planed on going to see their "Fire Wave" formation on the way to St. George, Utah. However, the Thrifty Car Rental counter their was so slow, that even though there were only 9 people in line ahead of us, it took over an hour to get a car. So, the sun was going down just as we got to the park, and was fully down before we could get to what we wanted to see. So we came back later in the week, and it was well worth it!
