Alyeska Tram, Dog Sledding, and Spencer Glacier, Alaska 8-14-2024

We started this day on the Alyeska Tram and did some hiking at the top. Then Linda, Dixon, Mike and Katie went dog sledding on the icefield above Punchbowl Glacier in the Chugach mountains. Meanwhile Janet and I took a short train ride to Spencer Glacier Whistle Stop. From there, it was a 2.6-mile round trip hike to the lake in front of Spence Glacier.
