This was a one day trip, up and back, to Mt. Rainier National Park, specifically the Paradise area, on 03/26/2021. It had snowed there the previous day. All the weather forecasts for this day, both on the park site and other weather sites said it would be sunny at Mt. Rainier. We had been waiting for a sunny day, with snow the previous day to get shots of the trees covered in snow with the mountain and blue sky behind them. Unfortunately, all the weather reports were wrong! The sun never did come out on this day. even after we left the park, we kept checking the webcams there and would have turned around if the sun did come out up there, but it never did. We still got a number of good images, but, not what we were after. On the way down from Paradise, we saw a Cascadia Red Fox poke his head over the snow piled up along side of the road by the snow plows/blowers. Unfortunately, he was probably there to beg for food. He did not get any from us, but we did get a few nice shots!
