We took our small trailer to a commercial campground in Packwood, WA so that we could have cell service for contact with our disabled daughter. We did have great connection there! We went up to Sunrise on the East side of Mt. Rainier on the day we arrived (heavy haze/smoke) and the second day (still haze/smoke, but less). We also took walks through both White River and Ohanapecosh campgrounds inside the park as they are favorites of ours. On the third day, we drove through Stevens Canyon to the West side of the park. There we stopped at Reflection Lakes, went up to Paradise, did Twin Firs Trail, stopped at Longmire, went back up to Paradise, on to Reflection Lakes again and back through Stevens Canyon to get back to our trailer. We were definitely disappointed by the amount of haze/smoke on the first two days, by overall, it was still a really fun trip!
