Indiana Dunes NP is about an hour drive East of Chicago. It used to be Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore until it was upgraded to a National Park on February 15, 2019. It is about 20 miles long and Indiana Dunes State Park still exists within the NP. Indiana Dunes is the 62nd NP we have visited.
