Here is another place in downtown Depot Bay where the waves crash against the rocks and seawall. You can see how people come to enjoy the waves!

Almost every year a tourist is lost during one of these storms. They get too close to the edge and a wave will catch them off balance and away the go. There are a couple places on HWY 101 that you can walk out onto the rock as the waves hit the shore line. Very Scary.
