This is North Falls, from a viewpoint amount a half mile from it along the road. We had planned on taking our dog with us and hike to the falls, but a sign there said no dogs/pets on the trail. We learned later that it was fine to take our dog with us to North Falls, just not on the 8-mile loop trail along the bottom of the canyon. So, next time we will take our dog with us to North Falls.
