This used to be Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, but is now Indiana Dunes National Park. They claim that because it has the second highest visitation rate in the park system that it should be a National Park. However, that high visitation rate is because it is a beach park about an hour drive East of Chicago. I think it should have remained a National Lakeside, but I'm not the one that gets to decide.
