Photographed this sign because we had never heard of an actual "Arizona Pine", even though we lived in Arizona for 14 years. They look like Ponderosa Pines to us. According to Wikipedia, they used to be thought to be a variant of Ponderosa pine, but are now recognized as a distinct species by most authorities.
