We have now reached their "Bristlecone Pine Interpretive Trail". It's a shame that some people vandalize signs like these. Bristlecone Pines do take on grotesque shapes, but still show beauty! We did not see this sign or the interpretive trail when we came out here 6 years ago, as it was all covered with 3-4 foot of snow! The snow actually made it easier to get around though, rather than the boulder field that was under it!
