Here, the bears had gone back to the pond, but on the side where we were previously standing. The cubs spooked and flew past there mom. She turned an made sure they were OK, and at this point was checking out what the trouble was. She was obviously agitated, but fortunately instead of going after the photographer, decided to round up her cubs and head out of the area.
