Mother Grizzly and her two cubs, just South of Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park. The mother, on the right, is #399 and is famous for bringing her cubs "near" areas where people can see them. It may give her some protection from larger male bears that might try to kill the cubs. Do a search of "bear #399" and you will find numerous sites describing her and her family.
Here, she is just about to cross the gravel road where I am parked! I was behind my car at this point as she was approaching and got in the car just after taking this shot!
