This is our new Prius V (6 days old) at the 11,000 foot elevation marker, as we still have about a mile further to go the the Patriarch Grove. This dirt road is 12.5 miles long and climbs an additional 1,300 feet from the Schulman Grove. The Schulman Grove is at 10,000 foot and the road is paved to that grove. After we returned to Big Pine, down on highway 395, we went to a self-serve car wash to clean off most of the dust/dirt!
