These are great-grandchildren of the Von Trapp family, portrayed in the movie "The Sound of Music". We were on our way back to Logan Pass when groups of people in Lederhosen and Alpine Skirts passed us on the trail. Finally, Linda asked one of the last in the group what was going on. It turns out that some of the family (who tour as the JAMS singing group), live in Montana and were having a family reunion.
