Once we got to Green River (from near Bryce Canyon), we set the trailer up in our site then headed back to Goblin Valley State Park. We got there it was around 4:00 PM (on Easter Sunday). It was a great time since many people had already left and more continued to leave while we were there. So, the result was that the park was not crowded as compared to the up to 3 hour wait times to get into the park that they had on Saturday! We stopped briefly at the Visitor Center to ask questions since we had never been here before, then headed into the park. Before going to the main parking lot and observation area, we first drove by the camping an Yurt area and took a few photos there. Then we headed to the parking area at Observation Point. Here you have a very nice overlook of the vally(s) where most of the goblins are located, There is a stairway here that takes you down into the area with the goblins. From there, you can just wander in whatever direction you want while you explore the goblins. From most areas, you can see the observation point that you enter from, so not much chance of getting lost. There are several actual trails in the park, but we did not have time to explore them. It was really nice though to just be able to roam around amongst the goblins. After a while, Janet took Maizy back up to the top to give her some water, while I stayed down for a bit longer before I joined her. As we were leaving the park, we came across a small band of Pronghorn Antelopes right near the road and stopped for some photos of them, from the car.
