After arriving at the RV park in Mammoth Lakes, CA, we headed to the nearby Devil's Postpile National Monument. Most of the year, there is a shuttle that takes you to the NM, but that had closed for the season (at least during the week) about a week before we arrived, so we got to drive all the way there. Then it was only about a 1 mile round trip hike to the main feature of the national monument.
