Camissia Natural Area in West Linn, Oregon

The 22.5 acres of the Camissia Natural Area are owned by The Nature Conservancy. The area is actually a rocky plateau that was covered by 100 feet of water during the last ice age (12,800-15,000 years ago). It has a very diverse combination of plants including Oregon White Oaks, Douglas Firs (which they are trying to eliminate due it taking over the white oaks, and lots of wildflowers.
