This all started on Dec 23rd, 2002. My wife and I visited some friends in Portland, Oregon, and went up to Mt. Hood for a day. At Timberline Lodge there, they have always had one or two St. Bernards, always named Bruno or Heide. The first shot in the Gallery is of my wife, Janet (on the right) and our friend Corinne with a 4 month old Bruno at the lodge. Just after this shot, my wife went to the gift shop there and bought a stuffed Bruno. In the next shot Corinne was taking a photo of my wife and I, and instead of holding her purchase, she set it between us on the ground. That started the fun of taking pictures of Bruno. Next was a photo of Bruno by himself with Mt. Hood, and then by a Fire Hydrant (someone skiing by also stopped to take a picture of that). Since then Bruno has accompanied us on numerous trips, including our first trip to Europe in July of 2003. His travels still continue, and will be going to Alaska this summer, so stop back by for more updates! Obviously, these are all for fun, so enjoy! :)
