We decided to drive to Astoria to have Fish & Chips at Bowpickers, which we had heard about for a long time. They have a very short menu for their Albacore Tuna Fish & Chips: Full order (5 fish), Half order (3 fish), Extra fish. This was our first time having Albacore Fish & Chips and they were very good! On the way to Astoria, we came via Hwy 26, then turning North on Hwy 103 to Hwy 202. This took us past the Jewelll Meadows Wildlife Area where they provide supplemental fee for Elk during the winter. This helps keep them out of farmers fields! We then had lunch at Bowpickers. Next we went to see the Astoria Column and then take a walk on part of the Astoria Riverwalk along the Columbia River.
