Today we start with an hour long zodiac cruise of Pleneau Bay, which is just South of the Lemaire Channel, with lots of icebergs. We also find a very large group of Gentoo Penguins in the water there, as there is a Leopard Seal cruising around where they want to go ashore. Next we head to Port Lockroy, which is basically a museum of an old British science station. Lots of penguins there, and another zodiac cruise in the area. Finally a few photos from those who dared (around 20-25 actually did it) to leap into the Antarctic water, at around 29 degrees F.
