Pavement Testing System (in-process)

A major problem facing pavement engineers is the lack of failure analysis data, including the lead-time required to generate these data. The Texas Mobile Load Simulator (TxMLS), an accelerated pavement testing (APT) device, was developed for just this purpose.

Designed for 6,000 axle loadings per hour, the TxMLS can simulate up to twenty (20) years of traffic in three (3) months or less. By utilizing actual truck bogies, axles, and suspensions, the TxMLS provides the most accurate reproduction of actual traffic simulation, and thus represents the cutting edge of APT technology.

Business development, contract negotiation and administration, project management, design, manufacturing, sourcing, development and testing.
