This parking lot is on the site of the old Fulton County Stadium. It was torn down for the Olympics in 1996. The original field dimensions, the locations of the infield, home plate and all were preserved and are outlined on the parking lot in red brick paving. The location and the outfield fence where Hank Aaron hit his 715th home run were preserved and erected on the exact location. (see picture below)

The blue fence marks the outer boundary of old Fulton County Stadium the orginal home of the Braves. After the Olympics this area was converted to a parking lot, just across the street from Turner Field. If you get there early enough, you can park right square on top of the old home plate.

The old fence and the spot where Hank's 715th home run broke Babe Ruth's record has been preserved here on the site of the old ball park. There are always lots of people from all over the country here before and after games taking pictures.
