sorry this was taken at the la county fair years ago the red lored is largest of the parrots that I HAVE SEEN IN THE WILD ...but anything is possible they do get away and thrive in our desert climate ......I hope you are right hard to mistake this colorful bird ...thanks for posting get a pic send it to me and i'll post it for you
