Therte is a marsh up interstate 5 just past taft hiway i've seen them there this photo was taken on MILLUX RD... GET OFF ON OLD RIVER ROAD ...TURN RIGHT head to Milllux make left and head west on that road look for the tall read grass in the irrigation ponds ..lots of hawks and a mix of other birds to see heading toward taft ca..I.ve been told large flocks can be seen on the 10 near the arizona ca border ..the day i took this pic i saw a flock of about 50 in that pond notice the date i took the photo it's it and miss with these guys
