On the evening of June 11th, there was a strong thunderstorm that came through.
One particular lightning strike was extremely loud, tripped a surge protector or two and made a few electrical things make alarms/noises for a second or two. We couldn't find any problem, so we went to sleep.
The next morning, Tiffany noticed the Sprinkler System control box....hanging on her car.
Exactly one circuit breaker had tripped (the circuit for the garage, including garage door openers and one bathroom inside the house). None of the sprinkers or boxes outside the house show any sign of damage, so far. The sprinkler system is mounted inside our garage, with the main electrical for the house right outside on that same wall.

The only suspicious thing in the yard - a hole blasted in the mulch with a metal stake in the middle...
