Trier. The Oldest City in Germany

We were actually heading for the Bodensee for a week of relaxation, but first we headed West from Muenchen, visiting friends on the way, to celebrate the 2000th anniversary of Trier. It is a beautiful city, with perhaps the best designed Market Platz in the country.

Your pictures of Trier are beautiful. It is one of our favorite cities that we've ever visited, and certainly the oldest!
