Franz Josef Strauss International Airport

Here's where we started our Autumn Visit to Germany. This is a wonderfully photogenic location, with metal and glass, curves and angles, and people. It's a short trip by S-Bahn (28 km) from downtown Muenchen. in 2006, it was again named "Best Airport in Europe," and ranked 8th in the world. A dedicated photographer can spend days here.
