I thought to make a gallery of something out of nothing, so just took a few bored out pics from
while waiting in line for the 11pm showing on a Friday night for the movie Grindhouse. These are
really just silly pictures, but worth while to pass the time, I find that the thing we do when we
are trying to pass time the most memorable.
A little update, watched the Curse of the Golden Flower, much like how all the court women have
pushed up bras, very cool. Vintage acting by Gong Li and Chow Yun Fat, but suprising good acting
by Jay Chow as well! Was expecting more action, but it did have a very grand, elaborate battle
scene in the end! Right now watching the Pianist.
Got my Chinese dictionary from dad the other day, and yeah just trying to get around the
dictionary, is a whole new knowledge by itself, sometimes I wonder how any Chinese can learn it
all by himself without the help of other mentors. I'm slowly getting the hang of it, I want to be
able to find a character I don't know how to pronounce, nor it's meaning, and get a good idea of
it afterward.
Been donig some jogging and sprinting after work, and yeah I'm getting old for this whole
sprinting thing. I have no problem doing jogging and even running, but I tried full-on sprinting,
and wow, knees and hip joints were feeling a bit sore after 8 dashes. I still need to figure out
how to run efficently, that's something I need to work on, how the foot strikes the ground and how
big strides are oppose to my arm swing and how relax I am while I breathe in between strides. I
have no system going to a run at all, I'm still not feeling comfortable and at ease just yet. I
want to be able to keep a good pace on my running, get some good cardio out of it.
