This image was taken over the weekend using the Canon 70-300mm! I'm considering this lens
for the telephoto purpose, it's got some amazing reach at 70-300mm!!! For I'm not used to shooting
at this range and this seems like fun! Built with 3rd generation IS (image stablization), it
should prove handy for the shaky cameraman.

I'm seriously considering this purchase, of couse I'd want the 70-200 f/2.8 IS, but I don't got
enough dough for that lens price.

Mainly concerned with the not so sharp image taken in portrait mode, for some reason this is a
problem for some of the manufactured lens, so I gotta make sure I get one that's sharp that's all
around.

I do like the price for this lens($534), the range (70-300), and the IS (image stablization), and
how small and inconspicuous this lens is, and also the 58mm filter size is the same as my 50
f/1.4, and 85 f/1.8. It'll compliment well with my Tokina 12-24, then My Tamron 28-75. These 3
lens will cover all the way from 12-300, and if I add a teleconverter, then I'm all set, I can
easily fit a cam and 3 lens in a rather small camera bag for light travel.

I borrowed this from my friend for a night and to me, never having to shoot at this focal length,
it was quite fun I gotta say, much like looking through a sniper scope. I might take this to my
local beach and just wander around with this lens, that sounds like fun!

I'm considering this over the 70-200 F/4L, because of the longer range (70-300), IS, and how
inconspicuous it looks, I don't want to intimidate people.

So far this lens has proven to be quite effective for what I need. Awesome!
