By this time we were pretty dead hungry, and was scouring around with our last energy. And thus we decided to just find a restaurant off the streets (we do this a lot when our stomach gets the best of us). It was our first sit down restaurant and it was definitely enjoyable to rest our feet and take in everything it has to offer. Afterward, we went for a nice dessert in GELLATO, which is Italy's version of the sweetened ice cream! This stuff is yummy!!!! The 3 flavors I had were: tiramisu, stracciatella alla fragola, and stracciatella. After that is onward to Trevi Fountain!

From the internet...
The Fontana di Trevi or Trevi Fountain is the most famous and arguably the most beautiful fountain in all of Rome.
A traditional legend holds that if visitors throw a coin into the fountain, they are ensured a return to Rome. Approximately 3,000 Euros are thrown into the fountain each day and are collected at night. The money has been used to subsidize a supermarket for Rome's needy.
